For me, personally, it's about not screeching to a static halt, because that lets the mind wander too far and too fast. It's the generator of doubt, paranoia, and questions - therefore heresy of the "right" way of living for me. It's not right to neglect problems, but it's also not right to over-think them, might lead to some serious shit as I've experienced.
(I know what it is, but I am asking from a philosopher's POV)
